Refund Policy

Nature of Our Services

SEO is a labour- and time-intensive service involving research, strategy, execution, and ongoing optimisation. Because work begins immediately upon engagement and resources (time, tools, and third-party costs) are committed early, our refund terms differ from those for physical goods.

Onboarding and Setup Fees

Onboarding, audit, and initial setup fees cover work completed at the start of an engagement (e.g., technical audits, keyword research, strategy documents) and are non-refundable once that work has been delivered, regardless of subsequent cancellation.

Monthly Retainer Services

For ongoing monthly SEO retainers:

• Fees for the current billing month are non-refundable once work for that month has commenced
• You may cancel future months by providing notice as specified in your service agreement (typically [Insert Notice Period, e.g., 30 days] in advance)
• No partial refunds are issued for a partially completed month unless work has not yet begun

One-Time Projects

For fixed-scope, one-time projects (e.g., a single SEO audit or content package):

• A refund may be considered if cancellation occurs before work has commenced, minus any non-recoverable third-party costs already incurred
• Once deliverables are in progress or partially completed, fees become non-refundable in proportion to work completed
• Fully delivered and approved work is not eligible for a refund

Cancellations

You may cancel your engagement at any time by providing written notice to [Insert Email]. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle or project phase, as applicable, and does not entitle you to a refund for work already performed.

Non-Refundable Items

• Third-party tool or platform costs incurred on your behalf (e.g., paid outreach, premium listings, ad spend)
• Work already delivered, reviewed, or approved
• Fees for services affected by factors outside our control, including search engine algorithm changes, manual actions arising from pre-existing website issues, or changes made by the Client or third parties to the website

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email [Insert Email] with your account details, invoice number, and reason for the request. We will review each request individually and respond within [Insert Number, e.g., 7] business days.

Processing Timeline

Approved refunds are processed within [Insert Number, e.g., 10–14] business days and issued to the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a revised "Last Updated" date and will apply to engagements entered into after that date.
